About Lia
I received Craniosacral Therapy training through the Upledger Institute and massage therapy at the Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle, Washington with a focus in Medical and Swedish massage. I am a certified Usui and Karuna Reiki Master teacher. I have been practicing massage and Reiki since 2004 and Craniosacral Therapy since 2006. I became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2020 and Registered Nurse in 2021, with the intention of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife.
Craniosacral Therapy is my passion. CST therapists believe that there is a part of each of us that already knows how to heal yet may need more resources, one of which can be the CST practitioner. CST is a gentle, light touch approach that releases tension in the tissues and around the central nervous system so that every other system in the body can relax, self-correct, and free itself of pain and discomfort. CST is wonderful for all kinds of healing including trauma, TBI, accident and surgery recovery, prenatal/postpartum care, and newborn birth trauma.
My bodywork training includes Craniosacral therapy, Reiki, BBT, Thai massage, Hot Stones, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger point therapy, Reflexology, Lomi Lomi, Acupressure, Basic Skincare, Facials, and Ayurvedic body treatments.
In addition to my work with healing arts, I am a mother, kung fu martial artist, dancer, musician, dj, and also enjoy painting.
